Barracuda Grill Seafood & Chops

The service was excellent here! We did not have reservations but were seated immediately. Our waitress was on top of everything, taking our order, bringing drinks, timing appetizer and main course. It made for a great night out. We shared the scallops as an appetizer. There were only 3 but they were delicious. My husband had the lobster troubadour and I had the octopus. I would recommend both dishes. They were so good we kept taking bites of each other's. A bit on the pricier side but you won't be disappointed.

So great to see this place still open, after visiting a few times between 2010-2015. Wonderful food, with a really cool selection of fish. The atmosphere is very dark and cozy. I have been to Bermuda 4 times, and have tried to stop here every time. Absolutely phenomenal.

This was for our 50th wedding anniversary and the server Olga did an amazing job. Food was excellent we could have not had a better experience.

We loved to take friends and guests there, many times. But unfriendliness and bugs/ Moskitos that are eating you on the patio, aren’t worth the travel for this nice spectacular location. Food was exemplary good years ago-now there seems anger and arrogance all over. Very sad to see when one is excitingly arriving happy, spending a pile of money for 3 courses of a family and relatives and be treated like an intruder. The place had potential-now it seems all too much work and pain for service staff to at least try to be welcoming and professional (?). Sad …

There are a lot of restaurants in this area. We've only been to a handful but this was by far the best. Everything was excellent - food, service, and upscale relaxed atmosphere. My wife had the salmon and I had the wahoo in a ginger sauce. Great half-bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The chef's take on sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Every dish had creative flavors all stood out and came together. We highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. Note that at the time of this review in 2023 maps takes you to the wrong location a block too high north. It's right next to the Hog Penny restaurant.

We felt this place was overrated. Food was not very good. Ambiance of space was dated and felt a bit claustrophobic. Not fine dining.

My initial rating was slightly harsh, for the food and service were delightful.
I had the rockfish and it was superb.
If I could give half stars I would as it’s between a 4* and 5*
But it was dear (pricey)
However having said that I’ll change my rating as Tbf the food was not of poor quality and I did enjoy. Would I go again? Maybe for a special occasion

Against my wishes, we came here for Valentines dinner. We haven’t had great luck the past 3 times, but my husband believes in giving chances. I feel like the menu is not for everyone. There isn’t much to choose from. It’s very expensive and the food is basic. We both got the steak, which I cannot understand why fancy places will only have a New York Strip or Sirloin on the menu. To me those are not fancy cuts of meat. I am very plain so I got the steak with just fries. My husband got the steak exactly how it came and yet they charged us the same price. My husband’s appetizer was soo small it did not do anything for him. The dessert menu is also small and doesn’t have a variety.

Dining with friends is always a joy, but when you dine at a place where the food is delicious the service excellent and the atmosphere comfortable it make the food that more delicious and the experience more memorable.

Excellent service and wondeful food. Ambience was very nice. All 6 of us moved our food. Especially enjoyed our server, Olga, who was fantastic.

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the seating was comfortable. Located right in the centre of Hamilton.

Food solid as usual but place is tired, peaked a dozen years back maybe? Needs face lift. Do like all their establishments under their umbrella.

Absolutely exceptional seafood with a lot of choice on the menu. The wine selection was also pretty impressive and varied. There wasn’t anything we had that we didn’t absolutely love and to top it all off the team running the restaurant were so lovely to chat to. Definitely worth a visit!

Good food but the place is quite run down, especially the entrance which is not at all enticing - leap of faith needed to enter! Nice art for sale on the walls.

Excellent fish and seafood served here. The starters of calamari, yellow fin tuna, prawns and scallops were brilliant and the main courses of grilled half medium lobster, pan fried bonito and rockfish were equally good. The service was excellent and the restaurant needs to be better supported, as I would hate to see it disappear.

Excellent restaurant with great food and service. The bar is top notch with craft cocktails throughout th week.

Meh. Guess I wasn't dressed fancy enough to matter. Ended up spending $100 USD just on dinner and dessert.

Not fond of this place. Went for dinner. A bottle of still water for the table was 9.50. Had salmon, which was good along with potatoes and bacon. Green peas and a pea puree which did not have any flavor. Spent over $100 for dinner and was not impressed at all
