34Under new ownership and the food is simply amazing! Incredibly good local food cooked by a Michelin star chef Sudesh and Ronita. Anything you eat is great! Had a kale salad with lentil balls, local fried fish, truffle fries to die for and home made pastries: lemon, coconut custard and apple tarts. This is a great place for breakfast or lunch before or after you visit the caves. It's a must do!
Had the wahoo sandwich and the fish soup. Get there early if you want the fresh mango juice
Really good fish sandwich! I heard they are moving to another location with better accessibility - I would seek them out to have the fish sandwich again!
Great breakfast sandwiches, you'll have plenty of company with a whole flock of quirky chickens.
Their fish sandwiches on raisin bread is delicious. The wahoo wrap was very good as well. Their service is very slow. Other then that the food is excellent. I will go there again.
Our breakfast/lunch at Café Olé was easily my top meal of the week. The fish sandwich was chubby and full of fresh local fish and a lovely light tartar sauce. We swooned over the raisin bread. What a delightful combination. The cafe is located at the entrance to Crystal Caves. There is plenty of parking. Stop at nearby Blue Hole to dive and swim, after.
Small place with a few tables. It was recommended for the fish sandwich which was good. If you want a certain fish, ask for it, we weren't told all of the options available. This spot is popular with the van drivers while they wait for their tour groups. We ordered a coffee & waited a while for it bc the girl didn't tell us it was done so it just sat on the counter while we were eating at our table.
1st of several restaurants my friend and I planned to visit this summer and we are definitely glad we started with Cafe Ole. It came highly recommended by my coworker. I was really caught off guard with the size and taste of this amazing Snapper sandwich. My friend had the Wahoo fish sandwich and it was just was mouthwatering. Our taste buds had a field day. A *must try* for those seafood lovers with a voracious appetite. Will definitely go back. Price was good and the service was excellent.
I was excited to try the fish sandwich at Cafe Ole after visiting the Crystal Caves. First off, the girl who took my order was miserable, rude, and never even put my order in. I sat with my two small children and after many orders were coming out, only to find out that she never put my $50 in. I felt disrespected as I was kind to her and just wanted to feed myself and my children. Finally, after getting our food I was missing my daughter's chicken tenders. However, I did enjoy the fish sandwich but was really upset about the whole experience here.
Food was good, but the attitude of the young lady taking orders was poor. I don't know if it was because it was hot, but man she doesn't belong in customer service. We visited 8/17/22 for lunch.
Very good! Had lunch here after the Crystal Caves. The lady at the hotel said it was one of the best fish sandwiches on the island, I haven't had another fish sandwich so am going to say it was true!
Hands down the best fish sandwich in Bermuda! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Take the food to go or eat outdoors at one of the tables. Enjoy the feral chickens hoping you drop some food.
An amazing fish sandwich! Even the native Bermudians recommend! Ended up going twice during the trip!
One of the top fish sandwiches I’ve had in Bermuda! However, giving 4 stars because the staff was a bit rude when taking our order.
Took a respite on our day trip to Bermuda and found ourselves having lunch here at the Cafe Ole. Apparently, the fish sandwich is the best on the island so we ordered one with some fries and a salad and waited to give it our verdict. We could not figure out why it took so long to get our food, but after we did we understood why as the sangwich was absolutely amazing! Each one is prepared with expert handling and in my opinion order the sandwich as the locals do-with raisin bread. Yes, raisin bread! The flavor was incredible and overall the Cafe is a really nice and relaxing place to get some good food. In fact, we came at the right time because even the cops had to wait as long as we did to get their food. Great place for some local flavor!
Very well prepared fish sandwich. Took a min to prepare but when you look to see the bread being cut fresh right there, and the fish is local hinds definitely recommend
Watch out for the chickens they try to eat your food. Peas and rice and fried shrimp were good. Cookies were crunchy
Not only does Cafe Ole serve delicious fish sandwiches, but they also have a fantastic chicken mango wrap. Absolutely delightful!
A very relaxed open-air lunch spot next to Crystal Caves. The local fish sandwich on raisin bread is excellent, just make sure to ask for lettuce, tomato & onion (if you want them). We made the mistake of not specifying and received plain fish on bread! (Which was still delicious, let’s be honest). As for sides, try the wahoo nuggets. They are large and moist. Personally, the peas and rice is a pass.
Ambience-wise, this place is laaaaaid back. Locals come here during their lunch hour and mingle with tourists who just emerged from the nearby caves. Order up at the counter and make yourself comfortable. Good things take time. The small colony of chickens living on the property will happily entertain you while you eat.
Recommended to me by a local and definitely worth a visit if you want somewhere that doesn't charge through the nose. Basic menu but probably something for everyone, burger, sandwiches, fries, fish sandwich etc. The only gripe I'd have is the quality of the turkey in the ciabatta, next time I think I'll stick to veggie items.
