A pkg was to be delivered Monday (last week) but because i was not home, i left a note asking if it could be delivered on the Friday (when I knew I would be off all day). They returned and collected the note BUT did not leave me any indication to advise me to collect from their office! When I called to ask where or when to expect the package I was only then told I would have to collect it from their office. The agent on the phone was audibly getting irritated with me. As if I had done some thing wrong.
As someone with mobility issues getting to their new location in Mills Creek is beyond a challenge for me, and buses do not run along that road!

Should be 0 stars filled all the paper work out from England said it was a gift and they wanted to now what it is and value said it was a jacket and the value was 55 i asked is thats all they said yes cause it was a gift then they called my dad and said he needs a invoice i would have sent it but was told its a gift cause its Christmas so now i have to find way to get one to him

If 0 stars were an option, this would be how I'd rate my experience with the Fed Ex office in Bermuda. This was the worst experience I have encountered shipping something into Bermuda - I run a business here, send many things in, and hardly ever run into a problem. There was NO COMMUNICATION throughout the process, not even to notify me that my package had already been in their warehouse for one month. After sending several emails to them, including the ones with my Trader ID, tracking details, and invoices, and several other emails to ask what the status of my shipment was, they had the nerve to email my sender that they could not reach me! TWO MONTHS after receiving my shipments, I finally got a notice in my mailbox that they tried to deliver my packages when I was not home -not once, but twice, at the same time of day (which, again, no communication to find out if I'm even there at that time!). I called the office and explained my husband would pick up the packages. They then emailed my sender again to say that they attempted the delivery twice with no outcome - AFTER I talked to someone. This office needs a lesson in communication. On top of all of this, the woman behind the counter was rude to her customers while my husband was there. This is the first and the last time I will use FedEx Bermuda. It's faster flying to the place you are buying from, picking it up yourself, and bringing it home.

Sad to say it’s not the best experience. Staff are friendly but packages delayed for weeks at times. Apparently it’s all Customs’ fault but DHL doesn’t experience the same issues. Hopefully they can sort this out as the staff are honestly friendly and nice to deal with.

Too bad there isn't an option for zero stars. This Bermuda company is hopeless and I'm shocked that the head company doesn't intervene and sort them out. If you complain about their slow delivery they deliberately hold your packages, blaming Customs. Customer Service is nil, probably because they can't offer any more information than what you can find using tracking.

I regret using them as it shouldn't take 2 weeks for a landed package to be ready for delivery. At this rate I'm looking at them holding my packages for a month. Unacceptable and they need to sort themselves out soon.

Another bad experience - July 2023 - Don't even ask why I continued to use them but never again. A 2 part order delivered to their Mills Creek facility on July 3rd and here it is July 26th and I still don't have one of them, and yup they tried to blame the delay on Customs. There is one girl 'trying' at the front desk who said the packages were right there. Another casually walks out from the back to grab one piece of paper and walks back inside while there's a long line, in the middle of the afternoon. You can't make this up. I wish I would have worn a body camera to show what we go through just to get something that we paid hundreds for.

And for my first complaint above, I spent over an hour matching Custom codes to my order, basically doing their job. And surprise, I had a phone call from them the next business day so someone's reading here. Maybe they need to be further trained, and maybe they need someone to put the fire under them. There's no way it should take over 3 weeks to clear the current backlog in a country this size. DHL is so much better with their portal and communications and they shall be getting my business from now on.

This has to be the worst courier company in Bermuda. No direct line to the Mills Creek office to speak with an agent, calls are rerouted overseas.
Three weeks waiting for delivery of a package sitting at Mills Creek. No phone calls or emails from them asking for an invoice and then when that is sent there is still no response.
Place needs a shake up from top to bottom. DHL did it and they are now by far the superior Bermuda courier.

Very poor customer service, this shouldn't even have a star but that's the lowest the system can go. There's no way to easily call the physical office in Bermuda, you have to dial an international number that honestly can only give as much info as the tracking website.

EDIT: The generic response added below my review clearly shows what's wrong with their customer service. Didn't even bother to read my review on what's wrong with their system.

THE WORST customer service, service delivery and courier service on the island. I paid for priority shipping for them to send a package to me. The next day I sent another package via Bermuda post office at the slowest and cheapest courier option and it arrived first before the FedEx shipment even left customs. Useless.

Extremely horrendous! I've been waiting for my package to be released for over two weeks. Awful and misleading communication. Overall poor service in dire need of a revamp.

OMG Please, please stay away from them! Extremely rude staff, a huge gap in communication. To describe Bermuda Fedex in one word USLESS! They should no longer be in business! And sorry I did not mean to give them one star but I did not have another option. To get a star you should be at least competent to be in the business.

There is no way to get in contact with anyone here. I’ve been emailing calling and nothing I paid for express shipping $220 for it to be treated like I paid for someone to walk it there from New York this does not make sense at all and honestly is disgusting.

Poor communication. Biggest complaint - no phone number to call the Bermuda office. All communication is through people who have no contact with Bermuda. Thus, even the smallest, seemingly easiest communication is made frustrating and infuriating, not to mention time-consuming.

Right now they have a survey where at the end of the call you wait and rate your experience from 1 to 5, and the lady wouldn't hang up to let me do the survey. We awkwardly both stayed on the line after saying goodbye, until I gave up and hung up.

Well, FedEx, here's your rating. 1/5.

Definitely don't use them if you want to express ship any items. They don't keep your trader ID on file like other companies so you have to provide with every shipment. They have you email your information to bda_clearance @fedex.com but no one actually responds. I have sent 4 emails in 2 weeks, no response. When you call their local number in Bermuda you get transferred to their overseas call center who cannot help you with your package in Bermuda. If you ask for someone in Bermuda they will call on your behalf, of course no answer and then give you an email address that bounces back. They definitely send you on a merry go round. My package shipped from the US on Oct 26 and it is now Nov 11 still not a single response and no package. All I know is that the package cleared customs on Oct 29. DHL is definitely a better option.

Absolutely awful. Use any other company if you can. Paid for some sporting gear to be shipped from UK to Bermuda. They said it would take 7 days, and it took 4 weeks. Not only that, but I had to chase them down and go through a customs nightmare because they were lazy. 10/10 would not reccomend.

Hard to do reviews for places now during the COVID pandemic. The facility allowed 3 people inside at a time, for social distancing reasons. Eventually a line formed outside as there was one person dealing with the 3 people inside and that employee was very slow and seem a little frustrated? Annoyed? Irritated? Anyway, I'm sure they can find a more effective way to serve the customers just so there isn't a line of people waiting outside for a long time in the heat!

Use any other company when you can
Total disappointment
Long story short you i paid 220$ for a package to be delivered in 2 days but i have to wait for 8 days

I paid around 220$ for shipment from US to Bermuda
During the shipment pick up process we filled all the prices information on Monday 23

Wednesday: received a call in the morning from Fedex agent that they want the prices and that they ll send me email what she did at 5 pm i submitted again the information at 6: 30

Thursday: again i had to call as the status was still the same and apprearntly fedex didn’t do any action with customs
On Thursday evening they said submitted

Friday: i saw the status changed but they said they cannot do the delivery at Friday as all guys left already to deliver items and it’s custom delay
I called them to pick it up and asked i ll be late for few minutes at 5: 35 they said no they close doors at 5: 30 and i have to wait till monday

The agents whenever u explain always say i am sorry but they are not cooperative at all to solve the problem

I’ve never had an issue with FedEx when using them both locally or overseas. Although they are pricy service has been good. Since I used to work in a similar industry I do know some of the problems that can occur at times as with any shipping service.
