It was closed during my visit to St. George's, Bermuda in April. Could it be due to pandemic lockdown?

Stopped in at Mama Angie's for lunch based on other great reviews and we were not disappointed. The fish cake sandwich was fabulous. It's fun that you can actually see them making the fish cakes from scratch, but that doesnt compare to the taste. Fresh and seasoned with local herbs and served on a fresh bun. My wife had a bacon cheeseburger that was also really good. She described it as a bacon sandwich with burger and cheese.
This place is decidedly simple but the food is fabulous without the typical Bermuda prices.

This small breakfast and lunch spot serves freshly prepared omelettes, pancakes, BLT's, fish on bun, cod cake sandwiches and more. Fresh delicious coffee, assorted lovely sourced bakery treats and delicious raisin bread. There's only four tables and two counter seats but you can order food to go or call ahead and take away. Remember you're in Bermuda so don't expect a NY diner experience, it's time to slow down and enjoy life. Closed Sundays, bring cash, and please close the door behind you the air conditioning is on! Owner is a Manchester United fan, so check your Liverpool pride at the door.

Cute place, well known by the locals. Not fancy, but good for a quick sandwich. Breakfast served all day.

One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had (on raisin bread), and one of the best meals we've had while visiting Bermuda. Highly recommend.

Took a walking tour in St. George, and the wonderful guide said it was where the locals go to have fish.and it was great! Half the price of touristy restaurants, all or more of the flavor! It's a hole in the wall so it is not about the ambience, but staff was friendly and food was very good!

Mama Angie made a whole new fresh pot of coffee for me and the BLT was just as great as another review mentions.
Cute little hole in the wall mum and pop's where everyone makes you feel like home.
Loved this place and it's my go to now when visiting.

Food was great and cooked to order. The coffee was tasty and hot. The cups they used for the coffee were very good because they didn't take away from the flavor. So it's a great place to stop and eat. If they were open earlier I would have gone every day I was there. All the locals seemed to like the breakfast sandwiches, but I enjoyed the combination meals too. The pancakes looked so fluffy I wish I tried one. I like over easy eggs, ham and raisin toast.favorite easy meal here. They said the raisin toast was from a local bakery and that sold me.

Highlight of my Bermuda trip was getting to sit down with these beautiful island people. Food was made with love and sat well in our stomach's as such. Everyone was so welcoming and warm, I can't wait to visit again on my next vacation. Oh another thing, in the month of July you DO NOT wear red lollll. Blue = St. George. Red = Somerset
