Sushi Restaurant Pearl opiniones
19We loved our sushi at Pearl! Started off with the dumplings, and then had spicy tuna hand rolls and a delicious shrimp tempura roll with seared tuna and sweet chili sauce. Friendly and attentive service too, and great location!
Fresh and tasty assortment of fish, presented very nicely. Visually appealing and tasty as well.
Lots of options for gluten free and had gluten free soy sauce
Waiter was very attentive and we got exactly what we went.
Wasn’t cheap but normal Bermuda prices
Small intimate sushi spot where you can have a terrace view of front street or sit inside and see your sushi being made
I went this evening 10/22/22. It was our honeymoon nice sushi evening … well the sushi was good but if you needed a drink… for-get-about-it. It was awful, never came back to our table to see if we needed anything…. Don’t know where she went… they could have made a lot more money … but never came back …. Get new servers ….
Love their sushi. I had the Oyster Pearl maki. Taste great. They also renovated the dining room and it feels more spacious. Staff were attentive, will return for another meal.
Overall just meh. The service was quite slow, but I think they were trying not to rush us. The sushi was ok. But, others in my group thought it was the best they ever had. Perhaps I'm hard to impress. The owner or manager was very attentive. So, the service was good. The sushi was good. They didn't have uni.
Coming from NY, my wife two-year old and I are hard to impress. However, I must say that the fish is fresh. The rice and nori are good, not great.
Why the two stars? We were asked to leave mid meal because our child was too loud. Apparently kids are unwelcome after 6: 30PM according the maitre d' (French.) We did not receive a any notice of noise complaints, until he basically said “sorry, you have to go. ” He was also rude to his staff which I thought was unnecessary and excessive.
Solid option for sushi, if you are not dining with your children. We won’t be back.
The manager on the evening of 10/28/21 is the rudest person I’ve ever come across of. Very threatening with all of his actions! Not only to us but other customers as well. We where tolerant all the way through. Very disappointed, if you want to spend $180 for sushi and get treated like a p.o. S, then this is the place for you. Better spots in town for sushi who will treat you like a customer should be treated!
We had a wonderful meal there last night. Sushi was excellent and service was great. Set on the balcony for our best meal in Bermuda so far. Will be definitely going back.
This is my new favorite spot! Stopped in without a reservation, but we were able to get a table outside. They had just got their hands on a bluefin tuna, and it was gloriously delicious. Bought a bottle of wine to go with our rolls. Everything was perfect! The atmosphere was inviting, nothing over the top, and the servers/manager were helpful and friendly. Of course we were talked into dessert, so make sure to order the vanilla bean cheesecake! Loved it all.
Sushi is always amazing. I never look at the menu, the chefs just create masterpieces. Service is always fantastic
Not very friendly upon entering the restaurant for lunch on Tuesday 1/21/20. Was very insistent after I sat down, stop by 3 times within 5 minute demanding that I order a drink and lastly suggested the I try the special. When I told him I was still reviewing the menu.get this on his third visit he asked me to remove my baseball hat. I’m fine if that was the policy, but why on the 3rd visit vs when entered. I politely declined and walked out.
Please pass this along to the owners, and highly recommend customer service training for your employee who was working the front that day
I’m extremely disappointed with the service in this restaurant. My friend and I were having dinner and a manager there treated us horribly. He was ignorant and unprofessional, responding rudely to a polite question my friend had about her food order.
I will not go back there again! The waiter and waitress were fine treating us well, but the manager called Mihai was awful. My suggestion to the restaurant is to treat your customers properly and hire professional courteous staff.
If you have no time limit and don't mind being neglected then this sushi is for you. The place was not busy but it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks after ordering, then the sushi took twice as long. We were a group of four with 1 roll each, also they would not split up the bill.
I would rather eat generic food any where else then bother doing this again
Solid sushi restaurant with inventive rolls and sashimi like this fresh rockfish with chili oil. It's located upstairs on Front Street so has a nice outdoor balcony overlooking Hamilton Harbour.
For doing what they do, they do well. So that said, don't expect authentic Japanese sushi but a pleasant fusion-style.
The location is great but the food is b grade sushi at best. The sushi rice was not cooked properly, and the fish was not as good as Im use to in DC Area strip malls. I get the view and being in bermuda adds to every meal but this is B- sushi and A+ prices.very disappointed. On the upside the bathrooms with were kinda of cool.
Wonderful sushi and excellent hand rolls. If you can, call ahead and ask for a reservation on the balcony overlooking Front St.so that you can enjoy the view of the harbor.
