76Quite the popular lunch spot in St Georges. There was a line to get in, but it moved quickly and we were lucky enough to get a table outside by the water. The fish tacos were tasty and enormous. I really liked the tortillas- crunchy but pliable. And the fish sandwich served on cinnamon raisin toast seemed odd but was really good. Try going right before the lunch rush or after for a good seat.
Walking into Wahoos is walking into your home. That is why it is never empty. Make sure to order the Bermuda Triangle.
A popular restaurant to eat in St. George. Line up gets long during peak hours. Food was mediocre and nothing exceptional. I was looking forward to trying the famous Bermuda fish sandwich but was disappointed by the taste. Did not live up to my expectations. Don't think I'll go back here again.
A great waterfront place for delicious fish and great service. The Rock Fish Rib was delicious.
EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. $18 for 6 tiny shrimp. $17 for 6 tiny conch fritters. $9 for 5 tiny (frozen) mozzarella sticks with cocktail sauce. These portions don’t feed a child let alone an adult. We all left hungry. We felt the food was either all burnt or undercooked (ordered a burger medium and got rare/almost blue). Food took forever to come and we spent more than half of our time in St. George waiting on the food here. Lunch for 4 was $130+. Skip and find elsewhere.
If you are in St. George's and want to have a nice sit down meal the then this is the place! Local dishes and great drinks. Pricing is on par with the rest of the island and the service is great.
Food and drinks were good, the service was good, but it was very busy, so the servers were a bit overwhelmed. Place could use a bit of redecorating.
Great seafood and dark and stormys with a harbor-side patio. Make a reservation for dinner to make sure you can sit by the water. The staff was very friendly and were easily able to modify menu items to fit our dietary restrictions (gluten free and dairy free).
Service was poor. Waitress suggested local fish for the fish sandwich which was $25 on the lunch menu and nuggets as well that were $19. We got the bill and they charged $41 for the sandwich and $35 for the nuggets. When questioned we were told “sorry” that’s the fresh local fish price. Food was okay, nothing exceptional. We had to hunt down our waitress Kiesha for our drinks and we actually got them from the bartender. Won’t be going back again. Not happy.
Not happy with our upscale of our order Our waitress (Keshia) Suggested we go with the local fish NEVER NEVER TELLING US IT WAS TWICE THE PRICE
We come every year but will never step foot into this place again.not happy.
We went to Wahoo's while on a bus tour. When my friend and I walked in, there was only two other customers (same table). I told him we were on a tour so in a bit of a hurry and could they accommodate us. I told him we only had 25 minutes. He said, 'yes, yes come on in. ' Well 15 minutes later we still hadn't received our order (we ordered a chicken club and mozzarella sticks) ; I asked the waitress and she said it would be right out. 5 more minutes and here she comes. She had to choke down the food to make the bus. $40 for this order. A bit much. Not happy that they couldn't accommodate as they said they could.
Just the best, if I want fish in a nice setting, bistro style, I will always choose Wahoo, some of the best fresh prepared meals on the Island, under the respected Chef and part owner Alfred Conrad. I would choose this restaurant over many other fine establishments in Bermuda.
Idk why you would go here when the wharf next door has better food at more reasonable prices.
I ordered the prickly pear martini, baha style wahoo taco and Cajun shrimp over arugula and tomato salad. Service, drinks and food was really good but expensive.
A well known place in St. George's, a little hard to find, if not familiar with the town. Great waterside setting, sat outside on the deck (inside seemed more like a pub). Service was very good and the fish sandwich on raison bread was excellent. Large portions, so sharing is possible.
Food was okay and service not as good. I think we just were unlucky with our particular server. Other people seemed to have really good service with their servers. They also seemed to be locals. We rented a Twizy to come to St. George for this particular restaurant and walk around a bit. The food, ambience nor service were worth the drive and expense.
Everyone said, "go to Wahoo's". My friends, taxi drivers, everyone. We had high hopes. We arrived 2 PM on a Friday. It was quite busy so we left and came back later to a less busy atmosphere. Service was friendly. The host allowed us to move to a seaside table. He was great. Our server was so sweet and apologetic for the wait but it turned into a very slow and later, inefficient experience. Others who came after us were served faster. Our food sat on the counter for about 15 minutes. I almost got it myself. I noticed it when I went to the rest room. The fish was tough. Rice and peas were good but small portions. The rum punches were great and oh, the views. Totally lovely.
Not good not bad. Just okay. The views are beautiful, but the table was sticky and the food was nothing special. Our waitress was so sweet, but she wasn't very attentive. I would say it is a fine place to go, but I would not say you HAVE to eat here while in the area.
Tuna steak up there with the best I have ever had (perfection!), and their grilled wahoo was delicious! Great service and a spectacular location for an evening meal.
Beautiful setting next to the water. The food was excellent Wow! Garlic prawns were perfectly cooked and so tasty. Lobster Ravioli was amazing.perfect.
