Henry VIII Restaurant, Sushi Bar & Pub

A bit out of the way from Horshoe Beach but probably one of the better options around the area with a good view too. They were not selling curry or lobster when I went. Fish and chips and the grilled salmon were very good. Rolls were okay.

Great location and views. Food is hit and miss. First time in September was awesome. October just okay. Burger just okay but fish and chips fresh and good. Steak and lobster great. Service is lay back and a little slow but good.

Didn’t know where to eat in this area. We were looking for something casual with a view. This placed ticked those boxes and more. The shrimp was amazing as was the fish sandwich

Had the calamari which is excellent, fish and chips very good too. The patio could use a little TLC but generally it is a nice atmosphere with a great view, good service, and good food. Will return.

We had such an amazing time at Henry VIII’s. The food was wonderful and the service was amazing! We will definitely go back!

Sushi was great. I ordered my burger well done and came back medium was disappointing. Also, someone I was with asked for no ice in their drink, and they missed it. Could have been a better experience.

A quiet friendly environment with great tasting food. Great for family sunday breakfast and brunch.

One of my fav restaurants in Bermuda. The food is always delicious & fresh. From the fish sandwich to the sushi, you can’t go wrong. Service tends to be a little slow but with the beautiful view outside, you won’t even notice.

Nice setting, good food, drink and service. Sushi was very good, curry excellent, nice menu selections. Almost the dishes at our table of four were excellent.

Food was overpriced and Service was HORRIBLE. THE WORST ever. I have been in some bad places. This place is by far the worst. The food took way too long. Cold and disappointing We asked for the manager to get a cab. He told us to go out on the side of the street and flag one ourselves

Terrific views from the patio and front room are the centerpiece of this pub/restaurant.

The house sauce on the shrimp cocktail is a great twist on this appetizer, and the tuna crudo appetizer is also a great option. We enjoyed the pan fried snapper and catch of the day. Both were fresh and well prepared.

Service is attentive and friendly. The ambiance is casual, with much of the dining area in need of a facelift.

What a terrific evening, all thanks to Tareek and the kind folks at Henry's. Our meals were excellent and we loved the patio views.

The food is amazing and DJ Cavon plays a nice mix of old school, reggae and R&B as everyone dances the night away, Saturday evenings. Nice mature crowd.

Good food but slow service, maybe just a bad night but after waiting over half an hour for a single dessert gave up waiting, left without it. All the staff were very pleasant.

Very expensive for extremely small portions. The soups were very spicy, they should mention it on the menu or at least let people know. Served us warm beer.
The service was very good, that's the only good thing.

I was pleasantly surprised with Henry VIII. Our food was delicious and our server was amazing! My girlfriend had shrimp cocktail in Venice and had been looking for the exact style of shrimp cocktail since being in Italy almost a year ago. We have been to a bunch of Italian restaurants in the states and have never found a place that could match it. When ordering the shrimp cocktail at Henry’s we didn’t expect it to be like Italy, but it was! It was almost exactly the same! Our server even brought my girlfriend some of the sauce to go! She was so happy! She also got the butter chicken and I had the king salad, both were excellent. We had the crème brûlée for dessert, you already know I’m going to say it was a perfect way to end our dinner. If we are ever back in Bermuda we will definitely be back!

Beautiful spacious outside dining overlooking South Shore. Delicious food, even better desserts. Very happy wit our choice to eat lunch at this Old Bermuda Staple.

Attended a birthday dinner on a Sunday evening. Service was pleasant, sushi was good, prices were decent. It is odd how, at a table of mixed groups, we weren't asked about separate checks. That is common elsewhere and avoids the awkward "who had what? " at the end of the evening when one check came for the table.

Nice outdoor patio to sit and have drinks on a warm day. A stunning view of the South shore. A great choice of cocktails. I will definitely go again.
