56 A very humble Restaurant for families and or couples to enjoy the breathtaking views of what once was Sonnesta Beach Hotel.
The only Restaurant near the Southampton, Gibbs's Hill Lighthouse and it is also near Church Bay.
Restaurant did not honour our reservation. VERY casual. We dined outside on cheap patio furniture - no tablecloths, no flowers, no candles - no atmosphere. One sole waiter did his best to keep up with everyone's orders outside. At his recommendation we both ordered the special - Wahoo fish. The sides were perfect and nicely presented however the $42 piece of fish was overcooked, dry and inedible. 90% left on plate. Not worth the drive from Hamilton
Great view to catch a sunset (somewhat indirectly) and the Sri Lankan fish curry was delicious. The cocktails were pretty good but not outstanding. I did not love the chef’s choice sushi roll we had, but others might.
Really nice staff and awesome location. The food is pretty good (not amazing) and unfortunately the beer tended to be a flat most of the time. However if you like swizzles (I do!), then that is a worthy alternative.
Strange (for me) but apparently common for Bermuda, a mashup between an English pub and a sushi bar
This place changes in the right direction. I think the best fish chowder i have had in Bermuda? Sushi or standard fare, this place has it!
I had Sushi and my husband had the hind. Perfection. Sticky toffee pudding not so much. Please please use a proper recipe for the famous dessert. What I got was very greasy pound cake with a few scattered dates that had settled on the bottom. Not sticky toffee pudding by any stretch of the imagination. Disappointing!
Nicely located perched on the hill overlooking Princess Bay beach. Large restaurant / bar with a wide range of British ales / beers etc. Under staffed, lacks atmosphere and overpriced. Eg. Can of Magner’s for $11 + mandatory inclusive tip of $2.
First time there and everything was fantastic! The food and service both. Would definitely recommend!
Absolute must! If you can, go on a Saturday night and stay for the dancing!
Food is very very good — actually a sushi place above if your group is split in taste for the evening.
The views are incredible.
Strong drinks and very friendly staff
We went for our anniversary dinner here due to high praises from the locals. Turns out there are many places better than this one. Nothing fancy and the food was ok.
Went to brunch as I hadn't been in years. We were greeted by friendly staff and sat near a window with a lovely view. Everything was ok, most cold offerings including the sushi were good. Hot food was mediocre. The surprise was the lobster salad. Delicious! Pumpkin-quinoa and beet salads also delicious. The joints of meat and the chicken were woefully under seasoned. I didn't bother with the fish. Most desserts were good. I'd go again because it's pretty inexpensive but I would stick to cold plates.
I always seem to end up at Henry's at some point when I visit Bermuda. The quality of the food is consistently good and the variety of the buffet is plentiful. Good food on the patio with a great view what else is there to say. Bon appetite
Fish chowder was very tasty (felt like it had a hint of curry- like spices) the rockfish plate was good but not quite $40 good and service was a tad slow even though it wasnt busy. Sushi on tues is 20% off so thats actually a pretty decent price for the rolls you get.
Good restaurant. Easy to get to from South Hampton. Good variety of good including a sushi menu. We ordered the king's salad, which was delicious, although the portions too small to share. We then ordered the Mediterranean Penne. That is a dish we would definitely get again. Jazz music was playing on a Sunday night and provided great background music. Finished the night with the bread and butter pudding for dessert. Don't skip that one! Check it out if you are in the area.
The food was excellent. Servers were a bit inattentive at the end but that was mostly down to how busy it was. Overall a neat place with a great view and good food.
I went here following a wedding for the late night dancing. Fun crowd and atmosphere, very scenic location. Would recommend for.some late night dancing in Bermuda
Sushi bar was on point. The staff went out of their way to provide an awesome experience. Thank you!
If you are staying at the Fairmont hotel, Henry VII is definitely a good option and close! Great Sushi, helpful staff!
Pricey and limited menu with average limited flavored food. Was pleasantly surprised at my drink though which was the strongest I'd had all trip. The staff was extremely friendly however and made the experience worth the night. Unfortunately wouldn't go back for service alone.
